The End of School & The Beginning of Wedding Season

One of the real joys of my job is interacting with different types of people. Ages, genders, walks of life etc. I enjoy seeing kids become young men and women. We are only two days away from high school graduation and it's an exciting time at school.

The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition

I don't know about everyone else but to me this year is absolutely flying by. It seems like it was only yesterday that I got hired on at my new job and come May I'll have been here six months. I certainly feel blessed that I was given the opportunity to take over such an important position. It's really fun how life has a way of working itself out. When I look back over the last 3 or so years of my life and how I ended up where I'm at today I can't help but smile.

The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition

Spring is in full swing and I'm absolutely loving it. Coming home to the new apartment and seeing people laying out poolside can't help but put you in a good mood.

Last week was my 1st spring break since 2008 when I was an undergrad and went to PCB. Needless to say I was looking forward to having a week off. One of the many perks of working at a school is that you get a good amount of holidays that normal jobs don't get and I certainly get a lot more time off than my previous job where I worked. At the old place of employment we got off one day for Thanksgiving and had a work a half day on Christmas Eve, to say my new holiday schedule is an improvement would be an understatement.

Another perk of spring is the baseball season starting up again. This song always reminds me of driving down into Atlanta to tailgate in front of The Ted

The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition

Apologies readers and blog followers for my absence. The last week and a half as been extremely hectic with our annual auction and gala, small group lunches with the senior class, and getting ready to move. With all that going on I haven't really been able to find time to blog. That being said with I couldn't let two Fridays go by with out a post so here we are.

The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition

Happy Friday to my loyal readers, I hope that this post finds you doing well. As I assume most of you are awaiting with baited breath for the jam of the day I won't make you wait any longer:
As discussed in my previous blog entry I decided to head out to Taco Mac on Thursday to watch some hoops and take advantage of their weekly Pint Night.

A Case of the Mondays

As the saying goes "all good things must come to an end" and so concluded what seemed to be an entirely too short weekend and the beginning of yet another work week. Fortunately enough it is only a four day work week with Friday being a faculty inservice day and having next Monday off. If you don't recognize the title of the blog post I feel bad for you and would suggest you get your priorities in order immediately and watch "Office Space." The next couple of weeks is literally one of my favorite times of the year with the beginning of March Madness. The NCAA Tournament selection show isn't until Sunday but conference tournaments are already under way and should provide some great match ups.

The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition

In honor of my 1st official blog follower I have decided to title each Friday blog "The Friday Chris Sanders' Edition" and include a jam of the day in celebration of the end of the week. So with out further adieu the jam:
I don't know why but I love this song, probably something about jamming out to the hip-hop harmonica. You'll probably find yourself humming this song sometime today.

I made my way with a buddy of mine to Taco Mac last night for their weekly Pint Night and to watch the Vols play.
